What does my registration include?

Full registration to attend the International Indigenous Music Summit 2024 includes access to all events in our schedule ie.

• Access to the IIMS 2024 Welcoming Ceremony and Feast on June 10, 2024 
• Access to the Delegate Reception & Opening Night Gala on June 10, 2024
• Access to all panels, workshops, and networking sessions
• Access to all official showcases at TD Music Hall and key venues across Toronto (Lula Lounge, )

Breakfast and lunch each day of the gathering (Lunch only on June 10th)

What about accessibility at all venues?

• Lula Lounge: The front entrance to Lula is fully accessible. There is one step down onto the dance floor and one or two steps to the elevated dining areas. We have a movable ramp that allows wheelchairs and walkers to access the dance floor and the elevated dining area on the east side. There is a fully accessible universal washroom on the main floor off the lobby. The coat check, basement washrooms and mezzanine areas are not yet accessible. Requests related to accessibility can be directed to info@lula.ca. Clients are encouraged to reach out before visiting us if they have questions or concerns.
• El Mocambo: Coming soon
• The Rivoli: Ground floor entrance, concert takes place in the back
• Universal Music Canada / The Academy: Entrance to buildng is on ground floor, the workshop will also take place on the ground floor.
• Revival: Coming soon.
• Royal Conservatory of Music Mazzoleni Concert Hall: When arriving by car, there is a drop off area in front of the TELUS Centre on Bloor Street, with curb ramps. If you have an Access Parking Sticker, there is a “No Parking” zone in front of the venue, although space is limited. Additional parking is available across the street in the Bedford Green P parking lot. Two of the building’s three entrances are accessible by people using mobility devices (example – a wheelchair, scooter, or walker) and strollers:
  • The Bloor Street entrance on the west side of the building (Tim and Frances Price Wing)
  • The Philosopher’s Walk entrance on the east side of the building

I heard there’s a shuttle. What are the pickup times, how do I get on it?

We have organized a shuttle to take registered delegates to specific events, workshops and showcases.

Shuttle provided for:

• JUNE 10:
  • From Doubletree Toronto to ferry for Ceremony and from Ferry to back to Doubletree Toronto

• JUNE 11:
  • Round trip from TD Music Hall to Lula Lounge daytime showcase
  • TD Music Hall to El Mocambo later that night
• JUNE 12:
  • TD Music Hall to the Rivoli
• JUNE 13:
  • Round trip from TD Music Hall to Universal Music daytime showcase
  • Universal Music to Mundial Monreal Mixer at DROM
  • DROM back to TD Music Hall
  • TD Music Hall to Revival
• JUNE 14:
  • Round trip from TD Music Hall to Royal Conservatory daytime showcase
  • Royal Conservatory to TD Music Hall for dinner break

I am registered! Where do I pick up my badge?

June 10th badges are available for pickup at TD Music Hall from 4:00pm – 9:00pm

From June 11th – 14th badge pickup will take place from 10:30am – 9:00pm at the TD Music Hall.

What should I wear the the Opening Night Gala?

Anything goes – dress as fancy or casual as you would like! Most people will dress rock n’ roll Indigi glam! Wear your best and biggest earrings if that’s your jam!

Are tickets available for individual showcases?

For those that are not registered for the full Summit, some showcases will have limited tickets available in advance and at the door:

A limited number of tickets will be available at the doors at the following venues for $25/ticket (cash only)

Who can attend the International Indigenous Music Summit?
The International Indigenous Music Summit is an inclusive event and everyone is welcome. We host a variety of programming including showcases, roundtables, panel discussions and much more. Some sessions are private meetings directed to specific delegates (ie. the Indigenous Presenters Network) and certain sessions and activities may be reserved for members of Indigenous Nations and communities. However, the majority of programming is open to all delegates.
