Red Rhythm & Blues is a beautiful coming together of two-spirit
Anishnaabe~Métis singer, songwriter, composer, artist and activist Aqua Nibii
Waawaaskone, and talented queer artist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and
activist Valentina Morelli. Together they craft soothing medicine music to heal the
soul and free the spirit. This duo have had the incredible opportunity to
collaborate with amazing organizations and bring love and light to the stage at
events like First Nations Live at The Royal Ontario Museum, The Red Revue at
Cherry Cola’s Rock ’N’ Rolla Cabaret and Lounge, and Vibrant Brampton at
Garden Square. Rooted in Indigenous storytelling, swelling harmonies expressed
through the ‘time old’ overcoming of the blues, these two are a creative
collaboration of magic.
